Between 2011 and 2012 Kevin Power wrote an extensive book of poems about death. About his own death. He selected several groups of poems from different books and sent them to ten artist friends. Among them was Javier Arce. He explained to each one that, within the group of poems they had just received, there was something that especially concerned them, something that only they could capture. Kevin's intention was to create a special publication as the result of the dialogue proposed to this group of artists. Arce presents a group of new paintings that empathize with a new way of dwelling in which everything appears to be suffused with stillness.
